These are our two flagship shelving systems in one place: KittaParts and The Shelves. Each designed by one of Like Butter's co-founders. Laura designed The Shelves in 2009. Jem designed KittaParts in 2019, ten years later. A few spin-offs from the main sitcom live here too, including KittaPlanta, designed by Johnny, our lead machinist.

KittaParts is the modular one. Threaded timber dowels, interchangeable shelf sizes. Configure it, add to it, pull it apart, change the shape. Start with a small kit and expand when you're ready.

The Shelves are our classic book-focused system. Laura designed them to get maximum book storage out of a given footprint. Each size is tuned to standard published book dimensions. They slot together with no tools, quick to assemble. Less configuring, more putting things on shelves.

Everything we make is designed, machined, sanded, and coated here in our Castlemaine workshop from Australian grown timbers, and ships flat-pack Australia-wide.
