Part of the heritage of Like Butter, going back to the earliest days of our existence, The Shelves are one of our most popular products. Whereas KittaPartsand The Clip Crate came from the mind of Jem, The Shelves were birthed in the mind of Laura back in 2009. The impetus for the design came from the need to easily move and set up a growing library of books from rental home to rental home while studying. This can be done without need of tools or fasteners due to the simple, super-strong, slotted design. And once in place, they’re solid and stable for purpose.
Sturdy, practical and with a visual appeal created by a staggering of parallel lines, The Shelves are available in several sizes and materials. The natural grains and knots in the Radiata pine and Birch have particular impact on the uprights and longer shelves.
